Test Space: Speak Up #2 for Grassroots Arts Sunderland

Join us for the second of our discussion events exploring the development of grassroots arts initiatives in Sunderland. We will have special guests and leaders from the wider North East creative community and city based organisations. This will be an opportunity for artists, creative practitioners and cultural organisations to learn from one another, share ideas and voice aspirations for grassroots development.

About the schedule:

12.45pm - Soft Start: Socialising and Refreshments

1.00pm - Formal Start: Welcome, Feedback from Test Space Session One and Keynote

1.30pm - Conversation Tables - rotation of discussion groups collaboratively exploring key questions and themes

2.40pm - Feedback, Summary and Thanks

2.50pm - 'Shout Out' slot for local creatives and independent organisations to share their events, good news, etc.

3.00pm - Close and departure

About the atmosphere and support:

· This will be an inclusive safer and braver space for you to talk freely on the issues impacting your work life and what kinds of changes you'd like to see in the city to improve grassroots culture.

· We will endeavour to make you comfortable at the venue which is level entry and has accessible facilities. There will be refreshments provided.

· We will do our best to meet access needs. Please let us know if you have specific access requirements ahead of time.

· We also have limited public transport travel bursaries to support those who would not otherwise be able to attend. Please let us know if you need this support.
